Yesterday, my wife and I visited the Amish quilt country where I found some wonderful homemade quilted and die-cut cards for sale. As soon as I got back home, I tried to replicate them, but I used glue instead of sewing the fabric to the card. It feels like the duct tape and superglue version of this card.
I diecut out the raven shapes and glued on interfaced fabric scraps to give them stability and a tactile feel. Then, I added some layering paper and embellished it with a single Nuvo drop.
This is a fun way to use the fabric scraps and is super easy to do. Next step is to actually try sewing these to cardstock.
