Today's recipient is fighting cancer and I was inspired by her change in attitude. It made me think of this Unity sentiment which was my jumping off point. That in turn had me thinking about a butterfly emerging from a cocoon, changed and stronger for it!
I started by randomly sponging DOX inks over a card panel. Spritzed with water to lift a bit of the color, then stamped here and there with the marbling stamp. The sentiment was stamped with versamark and embossed with snow white powder. Next, I die cut the butterfly from the bg, stamped mini swirls and flowers on the edges of the wings and sponged the edge with gathered twigs for a bit more diefinition, added some stickles and set back into the apperture. Finished with some aqua sequins.

Fabulous and you know I love that you used that butterfly for what it symbolizes. I love your bg but I love how you embellished the butterfly wings even more. And that sentiment is awesome. Fantastic card.

Beautiful card for Tarra and I love the background...sentiment, too. Just the right card to lift her spirits higher.

The white embossed sentiment is lovely - both the wording and the lightness of the white against your beautiful background. And it's so effective the way you embellished the butterfly and then put it back in the aperture.
I got lucky in finding a paper that went well enough with my gym chicks - I never remember to choose paper before colouring my image!
