A pocket card for today's WT, along with the WCW challenge this week-use watercolor pencils. I chose to stamp the flowers in the London fog and then paint. I thought the video was very informative. The positive that I felt is that the pencil is the color that it is; can't change it a lot with more water, unlike tube or pan paints. Makes it easier to choose colors I think. Small images would be best with the pencils. Dries quickly too. Thanks for the challenges!

You're right about the pencils being easier in small spaces. It was fun to try the pencils since I had not used them in so long, though I do love my tubes. Wonderful and very pretty fold and card. I love all the dsp you used....so pretty.

I really like this "pocket" with the matching tags. We're both green fans so you can be sure I love all the green dp you used. Lovely flower....I admit to not using my wc pencils in a long time..guess I should get them out.

Neat fold and like all the variety of greens you used. Thanks for your input on the pencils. Your succulents look fantastic done with the pencils. No matter what medium we use it's fun to color. Right? Tfs

You went for a fold!! I like that one, but it's always so long between times that I can never remember which side should be facing up, and I usually have to do a dummy run with copy paper. Your watercolour succulent (and the mini one) look great - very layered and dimensional looking but I presume it's actually flat.

I think you are right about it being easier to choose colors. I do like that you can color the pencils onto the paper in a light or dark layer though to get a little darker color. Love your pocket fold card. The succulents are very pretty in all the greens.
