My location this week is Sainte Chapelle, a Gothic church in Paris commissioned by King Louis IX. It is known for it's stained glass windows. Before I went to Paris the first time, a friend who was a teacher and francophile told me to go there. She said "You will feel like you are in a fishbowl." The windows are indeed breath-taking. For the technique I used on my card, I heat embossed on vellum and colored with markers.

Wow Jo Ann this is gorgeous. I’m not sure if we went to this church but it’s on our list if we ever return to Paris. Happy day

What a beautiful and elegant birthday card, Jo Ann. And such a fabulous location! That chapel is truly stunning and magnificent. I absolutely loved it when I was there.
