I found a colorful mug for my inspiration. I just got this fun flamingo die set and wanted to make a card for my BIL. He spent a few days with us and we visited a casino that had unusual symbols for the restrooms. The people symbols only had one leg and he and I found it amusing. He posed for a picture with one leg pulled up! This is perfect for his birthday in July! I love the idea of colorful flamingos and chose green and blue, with a bit of purple. The BG panel was embossed with the SSS streaming embossing folder, then I added color with kitsch flamingo distress ink. The flamingo was cut from various smooshed watercolor BG's, the pond from tumbled glass and I added vellum to give it the look of his foot being underwater. The sentiment was stamped in twisted citron. Here's my inspiration.

Gladys is actually quite adorable. That's a great die set and even greater that it's perfect for your BIL's birthday. I'm sure he'll get a kick out of it.
