I'm including this in two other challenges: IC959-https://whistlefish.com/products/i-love-helford-river-framed-print-by-rick-smith-rs35f?_pos=1&_sid=edabc0860&_ss=r
and the April MMJ-joke sentiment (Steven Wright is a comedian), book page, warm color, splatters. I also layered the heart die three times
I cut the heart out of a map of my new abode-LaCrosse WI. I have never lived in a city with one-way streets in such a small area. I don't even remember one-way streets in Milwaukee. I did almost turn down one the wrong way, shortly after I moved here last summer. The map doesn't even mark all the one-ways. Pearl St., my favorite street downtown, is one-way and it's almost impossible to get a parking space.
The book page is from The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, which takes place on the Mississippi River and the blue on the top left is the Mississippi. Yes, I'm just a few miles from it.

Great card! I really like how you used part of a local map. The quote fits it perfectly. In my hometown, a main street got changed into a one-way, and everyone was so upset about it that one of the local bands wrote a whole verse about it in a song.

Very fun and creative, Jean. I am not a fan of one way streets - so confusing in some towns. I live on a street that is a dead end - it does help with traffic. Great card. Hugz

What a wonderfully detailed and meaningful card! The incorporation of the map of LaCrosse, WI, and the page from "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" adds such a personal touch. The layers of the heart die and the clever use of elements for multiple challenges make this card both visually appealing and rich in storytelling. Great job on combining creativity and sentimentality for the Bless Your Heart challenge!
