This black base and embossed brick background are from another card which I never liked enough to send. I took it out of my card box last time DH went through it, and yesterday I pulled the front panel off. The sentiment (already die-cut and on my desk) covered the remnants of the foam tape at the top of the card, and with strategic positioning (and cutting another lobe for the prickly pear), the cacti covered the remnants at the bottom. Much happier now and this will go postal soon. The black wall had obviously been rubbed over lightly with one of the metallic TH distress crayons.

Wowser's! I do love that black brick background. Glad I'm not the only one to tear apart cards that just don't do it for me. Those cacti are wonderful. A long time ago I had an east and south facing apartment and had about 60 cacti and succulents on stands DH made for me to fit in the windows. Subsequent moves took away the light they needed and all I have left is a Burro's Tail. This is a striking card!
