For Lyn's TLC on Monday - TLC999 Underwater Scene 04/14/2024 by Rebeccaof at Splitcoaststampers
It's taken me all week by degrees, but I've got there. I've used a sunray stencil for underwater light before, but not in the manner shown in the video. I think I'd like to try doing all my sponging and then using a baby wipe to gently lift colour, but then that wouldn't lift it from the sun focal point itself, so maybe not, I don't know.
I had an accident when I tried adding splatter using the tube from my spray bottle, and wiped out the entire bottom left corner so I had to sponge over that again. Seaweeds are cut from vellum sponged with alcohol inks. Frame is green card sponged with more green and then with a yellow wax rubbed over. DH and I debated twice over whether to add the verse. He thought I shouldn't, and when I'd done it he thought I was right and I thought I should have listened to him. But there was definitely too much blank space in that corner without it. Another "Maybe not, I don't know..."

Beautiful dimension in your underwater scene, I love the contrast with the orange in the fish, your verse doesn't disturb this scene, I think I would say maybe not... When you know who you're sending a card it's easy to add a sentiment, but sometimes I really don't know what to add so I don't add texte
