I have some wedding announcement die cuts that are perfect for the occasion, but I haven't had a chance to use them yet. So, this seems like a wonderful opportunity to do so!
Although the die cut can stand on its own, I decided to cut it out of Concord and 9th paper and traced the flower with glitter glue. I also added white holographic glitter to give it a beautiful glaze. The result is very pretty to look at.
To make it an official wedding announcement (or is it called a wedding invitation?), I created an announcement for the wedding of Edward Cullen and Bella Rose. The wedding will take place at their proper Portland address, at an appropriate time, on a day that is excellent for having a birthday. There are several cute Easter eggs in the announcement. Finally, I added a layer of velum to give it a touch of class.
The entire announcement when put together is very pretty.
Thanks for looking! This is my second time posting for this challenge. After seeing Cook22 's card for today I realized my card lacked a background. So I updated with a background and a better picture.

I love the Twilight series so, of course, I love your card, Brian. So creative. Easter Eggs? That makes me laugh - I didn't see any but I am sure you would find a way to make them work. Fun and pretty card. Hugz

Well, I'm glad people mentioned Twilight because I don't know enough about it for the names to have registered! So obviously there is some significance in the books as to why August 7th is special. Now, if it were the Discworld novels I'd be much more au courant. The red rose makes sense now, and looks great with the added sparkle.
