I guess I'm kind of stuck on the theme of dark to light today, given the sentiment I used. I didn't have time yesterday to create so making up for it today.
This is for this week's ABC20Q. It's all about locations this round and we're heading to the Quidditch pitch at Hogwarts today. Wouldn't flying be an absolute treat?!
I used yesterday's sketch and today's WT-use sequins or gems. I kept it pretty CAS, simply blending some colors randomly that represent the Hogwarts colors for the different houses. I bought the Gina Marie HP stamps because my granddaughter is into the books. Harry's lightening bolt scar, track 9 &3/4 for the Hogwart's Express and the Deathly Hallows symbol make up the three elements on the right. I love the sentiments in the set...so true. Lumos is a spell that gives one light in the darkness.
I would be terrible at Quidditch since I can't throw a quaffle to save my soul but I surely would like to fly on a broom. Thanks for the challenges!

I know nothing about the books. I like the textures you used. I do think it is wonderful that you know enough to create this card, all due to your granddaughter.

Your card captures the magical essence of Hogwarts beautifully! The transition from dark to light reflects the journey of Harry Potter and his friends, and the inclusion of the Lumos spell adds a touch of enchantment. Flying on a broomstick sounds like a thrilling adventure indeed!

Wonderful Harry Potter inspired card, Jean Bean! I used to have a lunch group when I taught 7th grade. We'd eat sack lunches and talk about HP books. It was so much fun!
