This is going to Theresa. I've been singing The Mamas and Papas song Dedicated To The One I Love all day. It has a line in it that says the darkest hour is just before dawn. I was blessed yesterday to see the solar eclipse. We had about 4 minutes of totality. It was amazing.

Wonderful card, Shelly - love your sunrays, fab button, and wonderful paper. This is happy and sweet. Theresa will love it.
That is a wonderful song you have been singing. I just listened to them singing it on the Ed Sullivan show. Lovely stuff.

I like how you took the inspiration of that song (a great song) and used it for your card. Beautiful! And you're so lucky to have seen the eclipse...how cool!
Great card! I love that pretty bird paper, and it matches the color of your sun really well. I also love the two buttons in the corner -- so bright and cheery. We didn't get totality where I live, but it still got noticeably dark for a few minutes.

Just beautiful. The Mamas and the Papas, LOL I love it. Your card exudes happiness and sunshine which i hope puts a smile on Theresa's face for at least a moment and every time she looks at your card.

You've created both a sunny and inspiring card. Great reminder that each day has the potential to be bright and happy. Love the sunburst with the birds flying by in the bg. You say "Dedicated to the One I Love"; I thought "Good Morning Sunshine". Great card and you gave me a sweet memory of my youth. Now, I'll be singing that one all day.
Just googled to remind myself who sang the song "Good Morning Sunshine". Turns out it's "Good Morning Starshine"...LOL...oh well, I'll still be humming that tune all day. And the singer was Oliver.

I'm glad you got to see the eclipse! We had a partial one here a few years ago, a full one must be amazing. Love that bird paper, and the colours in your sun ray are beautiful.

What a heartfelt gesture to dedicate your creation to Theresa, especially with such a meaningful song lyric in mind. It sounds like witnessing the solar eclipse was a truly awe-inspiring experience, reminding us all of the beauty that can emerge from darkness.
