I kept the focus on a path/road and the banners. I painted my scene, changed the scene to a mountain road, and changed up my banner/sentiment. I used this tutorial to paint the scene:
Last year we drove along the road to Lookout Mountain coming from Alabama. I made hubby drive like 20 miles an hour and got very scared - I could have used some chocolate!
Darlene, enjoy your week and thanks for the inspiration.

Awesome work on this painting, Nancy. It did make my heart sink just a bit when I saw that road....yikes. Travelling that road requires LOTS of chocolate.

This is stunning, beautifully done and a bit frightening. Chocolate wouldn't do it for me but a big ol' bag of salt and vinegar potato chips would work. Very impressive.

Gorgeous and a beautiful CASE. I love the text on the second banner but the sentiment on the top banner is fabulous. I think chocolate makes just about everything better. Your painting totally captures the look and feel of a mountain road. I have been on some of those type of roads too and I am a "go slow" person as well. LOL. But what stunning views. Awesome card, Nancy.
