One of my new favorite crafting hobbies is making stickers. I imagined creating a card for my young niece with a dragon sticker that could be removed and used separately. I tried using a scan and cut to cut out the insert for the dragon sticker, but wasted several pages of my favorite Brutus Monroe paper. I learned that I should always test cut with scrap paper before using my good paper. I then tried cutting out the outline with a scalpel, but it still didn't work. Finally, I added the sticker with two-sided foam, which I figured would be easily removable.
After wasting my favorite paper, I moved on to Magic Potion paper by 3 Quarter Design. I found a moon-shaped die cut that looked good enough, so I added white SU ink and shimmer spray to it. I also sprayed the entire background paper with shimmer spray because I believe that you can never have too much sparkle on a card.
The card still didn't look right, so I added a beautiful ombre SU ribbon and different colored gems to bring in the colors of the dragon.
The end result is a card that is okay enough for my niece. I am skeptical about giving the card to anyone above the age of 11. I am going to keep working on making cards with removable stickers. I learned that it is possible to purchase sticker paper backing, which may be the answer I am looking for.

Great card! I must have the heart of a child, because I would be absolutely thrilled to get it. I love your colorful dragon and all gems you added to match them. I've been eyeing that Magic Potion paper, but haven't yet purchased it -- your use of it here makes me want it even more.
