My first flowers were duds, so I painted a few more, fussy cut them and covered up the ones I didn't like. Still need more practice, but I liked it once I covered up the complete fails. LOL
Did you see all the cool plaid used in the color challenge yesterday? I did so I made some to use as my background using leftover paint.

Very nice, plump cherries with wonderful shine on them. Your flowers are really pretty and the covered ones peeking out just look perfect with a darker color. I like the bloom out of the box and, of course, I love the plaid you painted.

Many elements on your painting to love. First your cherries remind me of the dark sweet cherries, not the tart red ones. The technique you used for the cherry blossoms is impressive. Like how you cut them and gave texture to the card. The frame and plaid add a nice final addition. Thanks for sharing your delightful painting.
