A friend introduced me to the Orchid Show at the NY Botanical Garden many years ago. It usually starts in February during the height of winter doldrums, just when you need it. I've been there when there was snow on the ground. The orchids of course are in the Conservatory, so it's warm and alive inside. This year's theme is Orchids in Fashion, and I went a few weeks ago with a friend. The fashion is a little cutting edge (think Oscars and Grammys) but as another visitor said "No matter what the theme, the orchids are always beautiful!)This C9 set was part of last year's Summer Camp. The die cutting is time consuming, but the results are spectacular.
