I am happy to host the sketch challenge this week. I often like the use of diagonals, so my sketch is all tilted for you! I just got a stamp set from my latest Unity order and put it to work. The floral stamp works perfectly with this designer paper. I opted to use my favorite ribbon technique also.
My goal is to make a big stack of Mother's Day cards to sell as a mini fundraiser for a non-profit where I volunteer. When I recently said "I need to make a lot of Mother's Day cards," my mom responded, "Just how many moms do you think you have?" Fortunately, I was able to explain my motives. LOL

Lovely card featuring the old-fashioned roses, Kim. The ribbon treatment is wonderful and so creative. Sure your card will be snapped up in a matter of moments at the fundraiser.

What a beautiful Mother's Day card, Kim. I like the dp you used and your stamped image is perfect with it. Love the story about your mom too, fun! Beautiful ribbon treatment, that one is new to me.

What a fantastic idea to use diagonals in your sketch challenge! It adds such a dynamic and modern touch to the design. Your Mother's Day card project sounds like a wonderful way to support a nonprofit organization, and your mom's reaction adds a humorous twist to the endeavor. Best of luck with your fundraising efforts!
