Diane is our hostess this week and has chosen Boho Blue, Fresh Freesia and Soft Sea Foam. Her dessert is, what for it... Spring!
We are just back from 2 week road trip and Wow! did we get to see spring flowers along the roadsides. Blue Bonnets in Texas, plus too many to name in yellows, oranges as we traveled through New Mexico to Arizona. Then on the way home we saw a bright version of Fresh Freesia on flowering trees and interesting fields of flowers in Oklahoma and Missouri. All to say, I knew I needed to do spring flowers even if I hadn't brought back this cute Country Flowers Bundle from a Stampin' Up! event I attended while we were in Houston. I also had to sneak in my beloved scallop border which is soon to be retired. Retired from Stampin' Up that is, not from my stamp room.
Thank you so much for taking a peek! I hope you join us with these pretty colors.

What a delightful grouping of blooms, Chris! I Love the subtle embossing in the bg and the way you added the dp, scalloped border and ribbon section all very eye pleasing~

Such a beautiful card Chris and how wonderful that you were inspired by all the Spring flowers on your road trip. It won't be long that they will be popping up in MN.

I love everything about this sweet card! The layout is really nice and I agree about that wonderful large scalloped border. Beautiful combination of papers, embossed backdrop, image and ribbon! Love the scattered dots and greeting, as well. Into my faves!
