Catching up on some challenges. I finally got myself back into my craft room. I wanted to make a spring card for Katelyn for this week's Tea Party and I started with inspiration for today's IC. The background was inspired this shirt from the photos in the challenge post: IC955 {3/23/24} Rent the Runway by Kalla Walla at Splitcoaststampers
I grabbed a stencil and sponged some stripes of bright colors. Then I had the stencil with ink all over it, so I spritzed it with Nuvo Mica mist and applied it to some Fabriano Hot Press paper. I sat there and looked at my two backgrounds for a little bit and decided to check this week's sketch. Sketch was easy. I cut the corners and glued them down so they would look folded over. Katelyn likes dogs so I stamped and cut the AI dog in a bunny costume for a fun Easter card for her. I needed another Easter card for a friend and I stamped the TCP bunny and decided to color the bunny in the same colors as her cat.

Don't you love it when you get a great monoprint as well after using a stencil. I like the softness on the print, and that Easter dog is brilliant. I like the sparkle on the flowers and eggs in the card for your friend.

Your creativity shines through in these cards! The vibrant colors and playful elements make them perfect for spring and Easter. Katelyn will surely adore the dog in a bunny costume, and your friend will appreciate the thoughtful touch of coloring the bunny to match her cat.
