My obsession with fairies, mermaids, unicorns, good witches and all things mystical has inspired me to create a "Fantasy" journal. A beautiful princess gazing from her castle balcony is the subject of countless fairytales and this medieval maiden image by Zan Von Zed seemed perfect for my magical scene. I'm not sure her fancy frock would suit today's casual attitude, but I like the more comfortable option in todays inspiration here: https://www.renttherunway.com/shop/d...s?lens=classic

oh wow Nancy, the shadows you gave her make her come to life I like the garb also. Sometimes you still can get lucky finding peasant tops that mimic that old renaissance flair.

The colors in the dress of the inspiration piece are gorgeous in your fantasy journal. What a pleasure to see two pages, Nancy!!

I can certainly see your inspiration from the dress colors and while they would be eye-catching in any situation, they really pop against the grey bricks of the castle walls.
