For the Inspiration Challenge (IC855), we are visiting Rent the Runway & their Pinterest Board. The bright colors inTHIS dress inspired my card.
I had a small piece of glossy card that had the pinkish, orange colors brayered on it, so i stamped the butterflies & die cut them w/ their coordinating dies. The flowers were colored w/ Copics & die cut. For the colorful background, I used a lovely floral stencil & 2 colors of lt reds & 2 colors of yellows to sponge over the top of it. I added a couple of scallop frames to finish it off.
Thanks so much for looking. So sorry to be gone for so long..I was in an accident, got banged up & a broke my leg :( Anyway, it's on my blog: The Write Stuff

I love everything about this card, Julie. The bright colors look so crisp against your white stitched and scalloped borders. Your stenciling is so pretty and your bright butterflies and beautifully colored daisies are perfect for this darling spring scene. Fabulous card!

Those colors are striking and definitely captured my attention. Hello Sunshine is a perfect sentiment as the bright yellow and neon pink both exude warmth and happiness.
