 | | Working on this card today, I remembered that my daughter loved to sing 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star'. When she got to the part 'like a diamond in the sky', she couldn't say 'sky'....she said 'syk' (sike).
This is for Jeanne's Friday F4A-pretty in pink; today's CAS-add sparkle; and today's TLC-partial stamping.
I used a very big stencil on the right side, at least 12" square, but only used the edge with the Victorian velvet. Then I stamped a very large stamp on top of that in a different pink. That stamp is probably at least 8" square. Why I wanted such large things, who knows? The stencil is letters but it looks like Latin and I love Latin. I really loved the great big 'doodled' flowers on the stamp. For the CAS, I added some glitter and Stickles in the center of the flower and I couldn't help myself, I used three 'sparkly', 'spicy' sentiments. You can pack a lot onto a slimline card. I edged the card with the same bright pink as the 'moodled' stamp. That's what they're called: moodles.
Thanks for the challenges! Fun, fun, fun! |
