My first attempt at trying to produce something Mixed Media. I have sat and watched the videos, played around with everything, sat and stared at it for ages - but eventually it came together this afternoon for me. First truely MM project for me. I have dabbled in gel prints before so got out the stash to use for the background.
I managed to get all of the following:
Stripes - gel plate print
Doodling with Micron Pen
Bird Stamps
Stencil - a little bit hidden behind the big bird.
Thanks to Jayne for all her encouragement "to just do it" and hints - he he he.
Hope you enjoy.

OMG, Helen, this looks stunning, so beautifully done! I would have thought MM would not be such a challenge for you with your amazing colouring skills. I recognised these cute birds and should get some before DD closes for good. Fabulous colours, too, on this work of art!

Wow Helen this is fabulous. I love all the different gel prints you used for your BG and your doodling is gorgeous. This certainly doesn’t look as though it was done by a MM novice. It’s gorgeous. Welcome to MMJ and so happy you joined in with the challenge. Look forward to seeing what you create next month. Happy weekend from the West

Your cards always bring a blast of sunshine to my day Helen! This is quite marvellous! MM isn't my thing but I think it must be yours. For a first card you have dived right in. I love your colour sense.
