For some reason I felt like painting a fish this week. I sketched the large fish and watercolored. I added some silver stickle swirls (say that fast three times) to the bg and added a separate water border on the bottom. I used some snow-tex which as the name indicates is a medium to add snow to something. I thought it could also double as foam on the wave. I decided that my rather large fish could use a few friends so I added a couple of German scrap fish for a touch of whimsy.

Your fish is certainly a keeper!! Love all the elements of media you used to create him and his surroundings.

I've always thought any white texture is good for foam. The Snow-Tex certainly is. I like your little scrap fish - did they come in those colours or did you colour gold ones?
Fish are jumping - but the cotton isn't high here anyway!
