This week's Ways to Use it Challenge is to use the symbol of a suit of cards (heart, spade, club, diamond). I received this beautiful heart-embossed background from a fellow Teapotter, and it seemed like the perfect way to subtly incorporate the suit into a card. The heart background was die-cut with a stitched edge die. The card is made just like you think, with the roses die-cut and placed over the background, which is matted on lavender card stock. The sentiment strip has a fishtail end and is edged in lavender ink.

Pretty roses against the embossing. The white really sets off the blossoms.
