My location today is in a Mermaids Underwater Garden.
It wasn't hard to pick this beautiful image of a mermaid for the M challenge. Being part mermaid myself I just can't go past underwater scenes and anything to do with the beach, sand and water. I loved painting the sea in the back ground and adding the corals and fish. The image was stamped and embossed. Coloured Miss Mermaid and the back ground. Added the corals and other little plants along the sandy bottom of the sea using little stamps from Lavinia Stamps. To finish off I added lots of sparkles with gel glitter pens.
Just remembered that I haven't added the little pearls to her hair so will add them to finish the scene. A girl needs her pearls.
This is a large stamp and can be used like I have or you could turn her around and use her the other way on a long card.
Hope you enjoy this swim in the mermaid's garden.

That's one gorgeous mermaid. Although it's much softer and more muted I love all the little stamps you used for the underwater garden. Even the spiky one, though that brought back memories of standing on a sea urchin in Greece one year.

Helen -no one does a background like you! This is fabulous. I love the depth you get with your background stamping. Needless to say your mermaid is amazing too. She looks so at home in her wonderful garden!
