This is my card for CC991. Jeanne is our hostess and she chose melon mambo, lemon lolly and pretty peacock for her color trio. Dessert option this week is anything goes. I chose designer paper.
For my Easter card I started with my background designer paper. It's from the Divinity Designs "heavenly skies" collection.
From there I decided on my layout and used an Easter cross and added some lilies. The cross is cut from pecan pie (neutral) cardstock. The lilies and stems I cut from Bristol smooth and I shaded with picked raspberry distress and forest moss ink.
The He is Risen phrase is cut in pretty peacock cardstock. I added a lemon lolly layer to the designer paper and the card base is melon mambo.
That's my sample for this week. Jeanne has chosen some great colors for your cardmaking so I hope you can play along with us.

Fabulous display of the challenge colors! This is so beautiful, Mary. Love how you wrapped the lilies around the cross. The big die-cut sentiment is terrific. A wonderful backdrop with that awesome paper. A lovely and meaningful Easter card!
