I'd been meaning to create a card with this sticker (Etsy, ShopMysticalClarity) and quote (cut from a catalog). So, when I saw that the theme for this week's Free For All was International Women's Day, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so.
I thought she went very nicely with a piece of ITD "Halloween" paper, and the paper's spookiness seemed to fit the quote too.
The sticker actually had a white border around it, as they often do. In this case, I thought the image would look better without it, so I dabbed alcohol ink onto the white with a Q-tip.
To highlight the quote a bit more, I punched a slightly larger circle out of copper paper (unknown). Then I glued the woman and the quote in place. The bottom right corner looked a little empty, so I added the gargoyle (cut from a catalog).
I'm really happy with how this turned out. Thanks for the great challenge, Angie!

Very cool combination of powerful and interesting images and words. This is my kind of card. Love it!

Wow! I am so impressed with how you made such an impactful card for several different sources! The woman is quite stunning and the background is perfect. I actually didn't notice the gargoyle until I read your description. I think it goes to show how perfectly he fits into the scene!
