Today is a catch-up day...
I want to thank the WCW team for pushing us far beyond what we thought we could do. Things I have learned: take your time, go slowly, don't overthink, have fun, be brave. I really enjoyed doing this painting, although I think the tulips look a bit like red Easter eggs. My drawing skills still need work.
Yesterday's WT-stitching. My skills only go as far as faux stitching with a Micron pen. I know I have a tool for punching little holes, no idea where it is.
Today's F4A-international day of women. Everyday should be women's day. I am not a fan of gender specific cards but this will be for my daughter for Mother's Day. She is a fabulous human, woman and daughter, a mental health counselor, a superb partner to her husband, a loving and fun mother and I don't know how she does it all. As a mental health counselor, she dislikes the term Super Woman. Why should we have to be super?? We are who we are. When she came into my life on 12/19/81, I had no idea how lucky I was. I will do another card featuring a woman.
Finally for today's MIX-wispy color. My goal was to keep this painting loose and wispy. I hope you think I succeeded somewhat. More to learn!
Thanks for these challenges! I had a blast.

Amazing painting! I love your micro pen faux stitching too. It works great with your painted panel. I am in awe of your water coloring talent. I wish I had time to do the WW challenge. Maybe someday I will have more time for crafting to join that challenge.

Wow, wow, wow! What a successful painting. Your color choices are fabulous and you got a nice washy look. The faux stitching is just the right touch and the sentiment is perfect. A fantastic card for a few challenges today.

I think your tulip shapes are great and would have never thought egg shape. I like the greenery and blues at the bottom, too. Good work on the loose w/c painting and good work, also, on your other challenges.

Jean, the whole composition of this piece is just beautiful. The script looks amazing with your lovely bold tulips and I love the character that your stitching lends to your art.
