Chris gave us some vibrant colors today. Monday night I paint with my niece. We just stroll through you-tube and find a video we want to watch and follow. Last night we chose this folk-art one. Something quite different for me. We go through the video and paint on cheap paper and then use arches and paint another version correcting what we didn't do well. As I'm looking at it this morning, it fits into the color challenge. Here is the video.

How fun to have a painting friend, I don't even have a stamping friend close by. Beautiful use of these colors, Linda, and to think you already had this done before the color reveal!

Fabulous scene! Love the folk art element with your own special watercoloring touch. How fun to paint with your niece. It worked out splendidly for the challenge colors, especially with the warmth of the sun for dessert!

This is so cool, Linda. Definitely seeing the folk art style come out. I always am drawn to any sort of landscape, especially when it's PAINTED. So nice.
