Yes, this is long gone but another one I was lax on posting! A brown card that I sanded to cover an issue and looked good so I did the whole front. Added a banner of copper handmade paper edged with a pearl gel pen. Over the top a die-cut dual layer of brown, 1 acorn layer, and then a piece of homemade copper paper that I tore to fit around these layers. Had in my stash this headline tag so I glued that with a leaf sticker and a wee gold bow. Inside just stamping top and bottom. Thanks to all for looking and for taking the time to let me know you visited.

Your card might be from Thanksgiving, but the sentiment is true all year. Like the richness of the fall colors and the homemade paper. Truly the inside is exquisite with its simplicity. TFS

Wonderful. I think that sanded front looks super and I love that handmade paper tag. It really coordinates beautifully with the main image. The jagged edges on the framing remind me of leaves in the Fall. Great design element. Great card.

Handsome Thanksgiving card and such a true statement. I love copper and used it in such a good way.

Beautiful Thanksgiving card in rich autumn tones, Betty. Love the idea of sanding the paper for a felt-like look. Pretty image and the red sweet gum leaf.
