Sherri has a very nice gallery of cards! I chose one from awhile back, where she embossed a leaf BG and then water-colored. I don't have her skills in the water-coloring department, so I embossed a quilted heart BG and then stenciled the leaves over that. That technique was a challenge from back in January and I really enjoy the look. I used similar colors, adding a die cut word and stamped the rest of the sentiment. Here's her pretty card.

I really like the color combo you used, and I love the results of your stenciling over embossing technique! I pinned your card so that I will remember to give that a try. Very pretty card!

What a pretty birthday card with lovely colors and beautiful stenciling. I like how you placed the stamped part of the sentiment through the loops of the die cut word. Very fun!

This is so lovely and light feeling. I think those colors are perfect for those airy leaves. The quilted bg adds a lovely layer of texture as well. I don't think I could handle the watercoloring either, so I am glad you did stenciling here. It inspires me to give this technique a try. Beautiful card.
