This panel is for the Alpha G challenge. I chose a garden as my location. I love gardens and flowers but with our harsh climate and living near the beach it is difficult to grow a pretty garden, so I enjoy those in cooler climates and around inner suburbs.
I already had the gelli print panel which has been sitting in my stash for quite a while. With limited time and wanting to play I find it makes life easier to start with a BG print. I loved the soft colours and cannot remember how I made it. It has some interesting prints on the BG which do not show in the photo.
I have used this stamp before, and when searching for a garden scene it felt right to go with the colours. Thank you dear Nancy for this beautiful stamp. I love it.
B&W paper was added to the panel and a strip cut out of scrapbooking paper I have had forever. I am determined to bash my stash lol.
Die cut the border and added stickles and ribbon. The dragonflies are very sparkly IRL.
This came together very quickly. The sticker says a happy place to be.
TFL. Happy day

Lovely image and paper, Jayne. It is lovely to see your love of gardening reflected on it. With our mild weather we can do fab gardens, but I can't handle the bugs and snakes. I wish I liked gardening enough to try it anyway. Hugz

Such a beautiful garden you have created, Jayne, and a lovely card too. We could grow things here except if we wanted a food garden, we would need to fence it to keep the deer away, and for any flower beds out front, we have to choose plants carefully so that deer don't eat them. I really like the soft colors of your gel print that you used as your starting piece. Lovely!
