Our Teaparty hostess this week, Jacqueline, has challenged us to use Colors of a Sunset on our cards this week, to send some cheer to Karen who is in rehab and is facing some challenges. Karen loves sunsets, dolphins, whales and poodles. My card just has a sunset, unless there is a dolphin or whale making all those bubbles!
This is also for a sketch challenge from a couple weeks ago. I liked the sketch then, and decided to use it for this Teaparty card when I ran across this bit of sunset ink-blending (with the bubbles already on it!) that I had in my scrap bin. I didn't like the blended piece at the time for the card I was making "back then", but combined with the sketch it works now! TFL!

Beautiful and I am so happy you reimagined how to use your blended piece. I think those bubbles are so fun and combining that panel with the waves is perfect. Now Karen gets to guess/decide who or what are making those bubbles. That should be quite fun for her; I know I'm enjoying it. Earlier it was a whale; but right now, it's a bed of clams. LOL. Great card, Liz.

nice eb background for your beautiful sunset and the illusions of bubbles coming from something and could be whale or dolphin---and goes to show as they say if not like what you made set aside and come back to it as usually looks great
