I took the easy way by cutting an oval, but became a struggle for me. I won't go in to the problems I had, but I am happy with the end results. I used the last of my Flirty Flamingo cardstock - it's on the inside. For the front of my card, I swiped the ink pad in a few directions. Then I randomly stamped the flower. I think this looks better IRL than in the photo. Anyway .....

I really like the flamingo, and I think the outside looks great - I would have assumed it was DP until I read your description. I'm sorry you had struggles but I think you ended up with a lovely card.

Lovely tropical card! I would love to be where I could see a flamingo strutting his way along the shoreline right now. I too thought your paper was DP. Great job with that ink pad!
