I refuse to be defeated by a challenge, regardless of traveling and having limited supplies. I used my brother's X-acto knife to cut the opening, purposely making it a little wonky (yes, purposely), then Zentangled around the opening squarely, using a straight edge. This is also for the WCW challenge this week: a boot with flowers. I decided to not paint the boot, instead tangling that too. I need a sentiment on the right but that will wait until I get home, couldn't think of anything I wanted to letter. I thought it would be fun to paint some flowers and leaves from the boot into the aperture.
Thanks for the challenges, never want to miss one of Sabrina's ;).

What a fabulous zentangled boot and who doesn't want a pair like that? Your painted flowers are beautiful and look great inside the boot.

Wowser's! You are very creative with the limited supplies. I sometimes can't do anything until I go through every piece of paper I own or all the dies. I love that boot! It looks fantastic with your bouquet of delicate flowers peeking out. Carrying them on to the aperture looks great!

Zentangle and watercolour are great standbys when you are away with family, no exception here. The tangled boot looks fantastic - I could see one of my nieces wearing those! And the little floral spray is dainty, and looks great with some of it recessed behind the aperture.
