This is a very old technique where I stamp in a color and then use blender pens to shade the image. I stamped the roses in Blueberry Bushel and then moved the color around with the blender pen - so simple and yet so classy I think!! Reminds me of Delft Blue China - so fun!! I hope you all enjoy making a card that's just blue and white- I love it!! Happy Tuesday everyone!!

Yes, this is an easy and fun technique and makes your roses look so soft and beautiful, Karen. Blue and white are such classy colors and I love all your layering on this gem~

Karen, thanks for the innovative and fun color combo this week. All of the cards are so pretty! Your roses are gorgeous, and I love the tecnhique you used with the blender pen. You didn't mention masking, but I love the clean edge of the rose design. Wonderful work!

What a beauty this is! Delft is the spot on ... and what a great challenge! If I had the time, I think I could stamp with just Blueberry Bushel all week.

Love this challenge - blue and white being a favourite combo for me. Your full, old fashioned looking, roses are perfect for the colours. I really like that blending technique. Thanks for the reminder of it! Gorgeous card!

Beautifully done, Karen! The technique really adds to your lovely blue roses. They are fabulously framed, too. Gorgeous card. Thanks for the inspiring & fun color challenge this week!
