Featured Stamper Shelly aka yo sam has a Gallery that is best described as HAPPY! I smiled my entire way through my viewing. Yes, there lovelies there too, but I really delighted in all her fun, colorful and happy images and cards. And this one immediately brought to mind that I needed Easter cards for the grands: Hoppy Easter by yo sam at Splitcoaststampers. Her card actually inspired me to make two different styles for the gals and the guys. The girls' cards kept her bunny image, pastel colors and a bit of flowers; while the boys card has a bg of Easter eggs albeit not nearly as fun and colorful as hers.
The bunny on these cards is actually a lollipop holder that I cut to get just the face. It's on a wobble so it will also add some fun for the girls. I sprinkled the leftover flowers from the headbands onto the gingham instead of gemstones
For the boys, I used digital stamp images that I acquired eons ago and made a simple grid pattern. It was waaaaaaay too boring, so I embossed that panel and it helped a bit. The egg is just cut from scrap card stock and then I stenciled the pattern. The sentiment is typed with Storybook font. I don't think my teen boys enjoy "fussy" or "cute" anymore, so I hope this rather plain card appeals to them.
Congratulations Shelly on being selected Featured Stamper. I hope you are enjoying all the cards you have inspired this week. And thanks for helping me get into the Easter mode. And, I hope everyone is hopping into the Easter mode with me. I'm sure we probably all are ready for a bit of Spring again. TFL

Oh my, these are super! You are reminding me I need to get some Easter cards started too! I love those bunnies - so sweet. I am at a loss for the boy in the group who is too old for bunnies. Maybe I will copy your egg idea. (thank you!) Great tribute to the FS.

Beautiful, cute, and so sweet! Fabulous design and color combos on the bunny cards. The "good egg" card is fun with the pun banner...

Great cards, love the "lollipop" bunnies! So fun that you put them on wobblers! And the "good egg card" is a "good choice" for the boys! :-)

Oh my goodness, Debbie, the cards for the girls are so adorable! And I love that you have them on wobblers. The flowers sprinkled on the gingham are wonderful as well. I don't think the card for the boys is boring, it looks lovely. Great texture and pattern. Wonderful Easter cards!
