Today's Featured Stamper is fellow Teapotter, yo sam. Shelly has such a fun gallery, and I enjoyed browsing for inspiration for a card for my friend's son. I chose this card from the Tea Party for Snietje's son, Luc. I was inspired to stamp with brown ink--which I never use. I could have use Memento brown, but I chose Versafine Clair, so I watercolored with my Tombow markers. Another thing I never do. And, well, it shows. But I'll just keep practicing and hopefully get better. The image I chose was so big that I couldn't cut it and frame it, but to keep the text framing like Shelly's card, I stamped a text background on all four sides of my card. I like the look and will probably do that more often. Thanks for the inspiration, Shelly!

Such a fun image, but I hope your son's friend doesn't try to take all his friends on his motorbike...Yikes! I love how the brown coordinates with the colors you used on the image. Very effective. And I'm loving that stamped text on the edges as well. I'll have to give that a try. Wonderful and fun. Your son's friend should really enjoy this.
