Julie has selected Shelly (yo sam) as this week's Featured Stamper. I am shocked she hasn't been the FS before - she has such a fun gallery and is the sweetest!
I love the Wizzard of Oz but don't have any stamps from that story/movie. I do happen to have two Alice stamps that a VERY SWEET SCS friend sent to me as a retirement gift this week. So I substituted Alice for Oz and fussy cut the rabbit instead of having him on a panel. I used dsp for the base panel like Shelly did, but outlined mine in Stickles. I sketched and painted the mushroom and grass.
I colored everything up with watercolors and a touch of Stickles. The sentiment is computer generated. I am always late on birthdays it seems so I needed some belated birthday cards in my stash. The actual face on this image has no mouth and smaller eyes. I messed up one eye and had a little mishap in the mouth area sooooo I improvised a little.
Thanks for the inspiration, Shelly, and thanks for all your sweet cards and encouragement you give to us all and to MMTPT recipients. Enjoy your week as the Featured Stamping Queen.

Nancy, I didn’t even connect that your stories were different until I read your description!! I love your sweet fairy tale scene and the inspiration that brought it to life. I hear ya on the late business! My hilarious kids got me a fridge magnet that said: Sorry I’m late, I didnt manage to get here on time! Ha! Gotta love ‘em!

What a wonderful Wonderland scene you created! beautiful water coloring of your fun stampings - great save on the face - I wouldn't have noticed you had to fix it (!)
