This is for the Mixability Challenge- Spring Flowers.
I started with this sheet of watercolour painting using acrylics I did one afternoon with my 4 year old grandson - this was his work which I have cut down to size. I stamped the daffodils using markers and a water mister. Stamped the sentiment and added the liquid pearls in the oyster colour. I then die cut the butterfly in the cream c/s and coloured it with markers, adding a couple of drops of liquid pearl to the body. Added a border with markers, too.

OMG...this is amazing! I whine about my lack of water coloring ability! Your young grandson is a natural and of course your added touch is perfection!!

I love the colors on the background, and I love your dots of shimmer! Great idea to use the markers on the stamp for the flowers and stems! This is so lovely!

A beautiful spring card, Sue. How lovely to have incorporated some of your grandson's work into it. Lovely soft feeling to your daffodils and the dimensional butterfly adds a lovely accent.

Wonderful and special background - so fun your grandson made it. The stamping is wonderful too. Great card, Sue. Hugz

Sue this is so beautiful and makes me smile to read that you have used a BG piece made by your DGS. I also have done that in the past. So precious. Your addition of daffodils adds to its beauty. Love the sentiment. Happy day from a very warm and muggy West. I hope that the storms have now passed your way. This weather is crazy in our country right now. Hugs jx
