Catching up on the Featured Stamper from last week, congrats to Polly! I was inspired by this card, I donât usually try fancy folds but this one was very straightforward and pretty easy:
I folded back the front half of the card base and covered the outside and inside of the folding section with coordinating pattern papers, and another paper on the inside of the card. On a white scrap of cardstock I stamped the teacup from the SU Cup of Tea set using Tahitian Tide ink. I then stamped the greenery in Parakeet Party. I stamped several flowers in the Tahitian Tide ink, die cut them and glued them among the greenery. I used a circle die to cut out the teacup image and cut a piece of coordinating paper with a larger circle and layered them together and attached to the front of the card. I cut a circle of white cardstock of the same size and glued it to the inside of the card directly under the round piece, to have a place to write a note that was still hidden when the card was closed. I added some pink dot stickers to the flowers as a finishing touch.
After I made this card today, I saw the Free4All challenge to use three or more stamps on a card and realized my teacup vignette counted.
belated congratulations to Polly, hope your week was fabulous!
