For the Inspiration Challenge (IC950) we are visiting All Paint by Numbers and their Pinterest Board. THISwas my inspiration picture.Â
My card started with the cute little gnome girl. After coloring & die cutting her w/ the coordinating die, I hunted around in my stash of backgrounds & found this baby wipe technique background (tutorial HERE) w/ similar colors.
After I die cut the white heart bg, I embossed the baby wipe bg w/ the same die, then went over it w/ a stylus to make the hearts puff out. The white die cut heart bg was attached over the baby wipe one & a scallop frame around it. The lacy heart border was done by die cutting the narrow hearts, turning the paper around & die cutting the other edge. ( There are step out pics of all of this, the embossing & Copic colors on my blog.)
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog: The Write Stuff

Your baby wipe technique has created a gorgeous embossed background, Julie. Your puffy stars look so amazingly iridescent. Your beautifully colored gnome is so cute on another of your fabulous designs. Love the sentiment.

Love that wiped background, the fun heat die, and that adorable gnome, Julie. What a fun Valentine and Inspiration card. Hugz

The bg is, like, fab. Your little gnome girl is cool, and pretty, like, psychedelic, like.
