This is my last valentine card! It is being hand delivered, so I didn't have to worry about building in time to send by mail.
I started with a pink cardstock background, leaving a small border of the white card base showing. Next I die cut the heart panel out of light aqua cardstock and left some heart spaces blank so the pink cardstock shows through. To fill the other heart spaces, I used the heart panel die again on patterned paper and then inlaid the heart cut outs into the light aqua piece.
I stamped, colored, and die cut the koala. I stamped the sentiment using a stamp positioning tool. It is already cut into three pieces, so it worked perfectly on three different rows. I purposely positioned the koala so it looks like he is holding one of the pink hearts.
