Today's Tea Party is for Maggie in Texas who recently suffered a stroke and is bedridden. Maggie was nominated by my old coworker, Rose, who tells us that Maggie is very proud of her Irish heritage. So I have challenged everyone to be inspired by the Irish prayer that I've featured on my card.
I'm still trying to use up some backgrounds to free up space in my drawer. I made this background one day with Desmond while we were playing with his watercolor paints that he bought himself at Hobby Lobby. I thought the rainbow colors with the splatter was perfect for the rainbow with ever storm. I chose this cute retired TCP stamp from my list of stamps that I haven't used yet, because Maggie likes to watch the birds. I hope Maggie feels all the warm hugs coming her way.

I tend to use up backgrounds pretty quick after I make them. I really wish I could save some for later use but alas I think I would forget how I make them for giving details. This is a wonderful rainbow background. I am sure Desmond loves his watercolors that he bought with his own money. This is a wonderful card for the Irish Blessing challenge.

This is absolutely perfect for this challenge! I love that it was from a saved background created with Desmond! The rainbow and poem will certainly bring some cheer to Maggie!

As much as I love your bg, I love more that you made it with Desmond so I know it is infused with love. That image is adorable and so spot-on for today's Tea Party. This is sure to brighten and cheer Maggie. Fabulous card, Jen.
