Mary is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has set me up to make a Valentine's card for my "kids." They are the cutest couple I know! The colors are Real Red, Gorgeous Grape and Garden Green. Dessert option is "anything goes."
I stamped the monster in black, then colored with a Copic marker in a shade similar to Highland Heather (my "anything goes" dessert option), then I gave my monster some fur with a Polychromos purple colored pencil similar to Gorgeous Grape. The greeting on the heart is heat embossed in white and popped up on foam tape, then I blended Real Red ink over the top (emboss resist). Black glaze pen to bring out the monster's eyes, eyebrows and smile, and white gel pen for his fangs.
I cut a stitched peek-a-boo window in the top layer, then popped it up on foam tape and placed over the monster. Added a Garden Green greeting and a few sequins.
This week's colors are great for Valentine's Day or for any other theme you'd like. Please come join us, make a card and post it in the gallery for us all to enjoy!
I have amended my writeup to include TLC992, my attempt at coloring the fur on my Valentines monster.

I like how you achieved a fluffy looking monster and one that doesn't look scary too. What a great looking cas Valentine card! The colored sequins was a nice choice to the outside~

Purple monsters are the best!! Fun image, and clever to get the green in using sequins.
