For WCW192, Brenda has presented a lovely video of how to do a watercolor winter scene. The talented artist doing the tutorial used a bunny so I just played along. I did add a little tree, a little black, more shadows, and some grass. What a fun scene to paint and it wasn't horribly difficult.
For MIX575, MariLynn has us picking 6 more weeks of Winter or an early Spring. Honestly, I don't care as long as there aren't any extremes or things we can't handle well (i.e., extreme cold, ice, too much snow, prolonged rain, tornados, hail, straight-line winds, or anything that disrupts our internet or sleep - lol, and yes, I am a weather baby). Since the WCW challenge was a winter scene, I am going with Winter.

This is a super painting, Nancy. I love a painted birch tree and glad you added that one. The sky and bunny are just perfect. Great work on this challenge.

Winter is nice. But this winter we have already had two ft of snow so I’m ready for spring. Love how your bunny turned out. Love your snowy sky. Thanks for hoping in with my challenge.

This is really wonderful! I love the deep dark of the sky, and your subtle but perfect shading on the bunny and snow. The tree is a wonderful addition, with the grass. Beautifully done!
