My card for Teapot Tuesday. I tried to go "Victorian-ish" with this but not sure I like the result. It will have to do this week. It's tax season and I'm lacking sleep due to the work load and dreams (nightmares) of spreadsheets and formulas. Enjoy!

Oh Vicky do I understand your tension! Been there, done that for my full time job, of which I am thankfully retired from. But I still have this tension as a town clerk with elections and quarterly reports. You Victorian flavored card is so cute, but I especially love the swag of blue flowers at the top of your card.

I think it is lovely and you have all the elements to celebrate Ester's vision and our teaparty tickle celebration.
Oh my, I feel bad for you if you have to deal with taxes during tax season. Yuck. Wishing you positive dreams and quickly balanced and accurate spreadsheets. Hugz

I am grateful for people who can handle all those numbers/spreadsheets/etc. My taxes are very simple but I'd rather not do them myself. Well worth the money to pay someone. I can see the Victorian, lovely choices of images and trims, which are so vintage. BTW, I haven't received all my tax stuff yet and it's the last day of January...what's up with that????

I think you definitely got the Victorian vibe especially with that little cherub and the scroll work behind the swag. The more alternative antique colors work, too, as opposed to the bright Reds and pinks we often associate with Valentines Day.

I do think you did great job at making it Victorian as came out ever so nice and that cherub seems very happy just hanging out on the heart--sweet card
