Thank you for hosting, Ardyth. Our Featured Stamper is Giovana aka giogio. Your gallery is simply filled with wonderful inspiration, Giovana. I chose this card to case:
I kept the bird theme. The flower and leaf cluster are similar but I used different dies. Her card is landscape and mine is portrait. She has more layers and glitz than mine.
For my background, I followed a masking and ink blending tutorial by Linda Hart. On the main panel I stamped the bird images, covered each stamped bird with a mask created with the bird die. I blended ink around the masked images. I stamped a babys breath image to fill in the bare areas between the birds.
The single bird mounted on the sentiment strip was stamped, silver embossed and die cut. I die cut a daisy and two sprigs. I silver embossed the center of the daisy and one of the sprigs was cut from silver cardstock. I added three rhinestones.
Enjoy all the cards made in your honor, Giovana!
