I am extremely positive about the results of my WCW painting-negative painting. The video artist used hearts; I am tired of hearts so I chose leaves. I just love the Daniel Smith watercolor paint dots I purchased a while ago. Quite a nice collection of colors and amount of paint in the dots. I'm submitting this for today's F4A because I used a lot of blue and blue/green colors. I do plan to make two cards out of this but I wanted to enjoy the painting first and contemplate what I want to do. Don't want to cover it up too much.
A short version of what I did: I trace three leaf dies onto the paper and used blue/green paints to cover the background, very watery, and placed the Press and Seal on top, letting it wrinkle and then dry. That created the cool patterns in the lightest leaves. Then I drew a small leaf on printer paper and used that to fill in, doing four layers of colors, getting darker and darker after letting each layer dry. I did use a hair dryer to dry the last two layers to move the project along.
I have to say that this project is in the top five of the WCW challenges for me. I LOVE IT! Thanks for the challenge, Angie! I love the WCW team!!!!!!

You really should be proud of your painting. I love all the texture you got with the Press ' n Seal. The green and blue is a wonderful color combo.
