This week we are sending Tea Potter encouragement to Chris who is recovering from the removal of a significant portion of her liver. Emerald Green is the color for liver disease and our hostess, Pat, challenged us to add Emerald Green to our cards. Since Chris loves gardening and butterflies among other things, I naturally went in that direction.
For my card, I started by stenciling the flowers in yellow and purple before embossing the panel. I wanted the butterfly to have a glossy look so I created two AI panels for the butterflies. Yeah, plural, but after putting them on the card, it was too much. So I retreated to my favorite butterfly die which is now doing a solo act. But, you can definitely see the embossed butterflies hovering around the back. Finished with a sentiment strip and iridescent bubbles.
I hope being surrounded by beautiful scenes with lots of healing green will help Chris in her recuperation. And I hope you find yourself surrounded by beauty today as well. TFL

I love how you embossed over the stenciling. That is a gorgeous embossing folder. I know Chris will enjoy getting this breath of spring in her mailbox!

Debbie, this is gorgeous! The colors you chose for the background are so beautiful together and a perfect backdrop for the deep blue of the butterfly. Love it!
